Let’s Get Moving! Participants will get a 30 minute workout to Jazzercise routines.
30 minutes for a meal? No Problem! Participants will learn how to create healthy meals for “busy” families that can be made in less than 30 minutes. Recipes will be given out!
New/Current Drug Trends in Cecil County…What to look for with your children A p resentation given by Corporal Komenda will address current drug trends, statistics and what to look for with your children and friends.
Vo-Tech, what is it and what programs are there for my child? A counselor from the School of Technology will give a presentation of programs offered, the application process and deadlines!
MySpace/Twitter…OH My! Ever wonder what your kids do on these websites? Want to learn more? Come to this session to gain valuable insight on how to monitor and protect your children.
Service Learning and Importance of College A PHS counselor will stress the importance of the service learning project, and also help to alleviate frustration with college forms and the application process.
Weight Training 101 Participants will learn the basic principles of proper weight training and how to gain benefit from muscular strength exercises. Handouts provided!
What is Inclusion? What does it look like at PHS? A special educator at PHS will cover the definition of inclusion, what the law requires schools to do, and what the PHS version of inclusion looks like.
